1. Scope and controller
Prodmake LLC operates MotionPls and is responsible for personal information processed through motionpls.com, direct orders, project delivery, support, and related communications. This policy does not govern third-party websites or services that publish their own privacy policies.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- name, organization, role, email address, and other contact details;
- order details, communication objectives, audience, channel, locale, and format;
- descriptions, source links, screenshots, recordings, files, brand assets, and approved claims;
- communications, scheduling details, approvals, revision feedback, and support requests; and
- billing identity, payment status, transaction identifiers, and related records received from payment providers.
Stripe or PayPal processes complete payment credentials. We do not receive or store your full payment-card number.
Information collected automatically
Our infrastructure may collect IP address, browser and device information, requested URLs, timestamps, referral information, security events, and essential cookie or session data needed to deliver, protect, and diagnose the website.
We also use self-hosted Rybbit analytics to count visits: pages viewed, referring site, browser and device details, and approximate location. It is loaded from motionpls.com and runs on our own server, so the data is not shared with an analytics vendor. It sets no cookies and stores a random identifier in your browser's local storage so repeat visits from the same browser can be counted.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- provide quotes, process orders, and deliver the agreed service;
- review intake, prepare scripts, obtain approvals, produce work, and manage revisions;
- process payments, maintain accounting and tax records, and address disputes;
- communicate about orders, scheduling, delivery, policy changes, and support;
- secure, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the website and service;
- enforce our terms, prevent abuse, and protect legal rights; and
- comply with legal, regulatory, tax, sanctions, and lawful disclosure obligations.
4. Legal grounds
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information as needed to perform a contract or take requested pre-contract steps, comply with legal obligations, pursue legitimate interests such as security and service operation, or act with your consent. You may withdraw consent for future processing where consent is the basis, without affecting prior processing.
5. How we share information
We share information only as reasonably needed with:
- Stripe and PayPal for payment processing, fraud prevention, and transaction support;
- Cloudflare for website delivery, storage, security, and infrastructure;
- Resend to send booking, order, and sign-in emails, and Google Meet or Zoom when you join a call;
- professional advisers, accountants, insurers, and legal providers under appropriate duties;
- authorities or other parties when required by law or necessary to protect rights and safety; and
- a successor in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of relevant assets.
These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies where they act independently. We do not sell personal information. We do not use advertising trackers on motionpls.com.
6. Customer project material
Project files and links are used to evaluate, produce, review, deliver, secure, and support your order. We do not publish commissioned customer work as portfolio material without written permission. Do not submit regulated, restricted, classified, or highly sensitive information through the ordinary direct-order path without a separate written agreement.
7. International processing
Prodmake LLC is based in the United States. Information may be processed in the United States and in other locations where our providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate contractual or legal safeguards for cross-border transfers.
8. Retention
- Transaction, tax, accounting, and core legal records may be retained for seven years.
- Submitted project files and deliverables are retained for up to 90 days after completion unless we agree otherwise.
- Basic security and technical logs are retained for up to 90 days unless a longer period is required to investigate abuse or comply with law.
We may retain information longer when reasonably necessary for an active order, dispute, legal hold, enforceable agreement, or statutory obligation. We may keep information in de-identified form where it no longer identifies you.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the service. No internet transmission, storage system, or security measure is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Cookies and local storage
Motionpls.com may use essential cookies or local storage for security, preferences, and core website operation. Our analytics (section 2) stores a random identifier in local storage and sets no cookie. We do not currently use advertising trackers. If that changes, we will update this policy and request consent where required. You can block the analytics script with your browser or a content blocker without affecting the site.
11. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection; to withdraw consent; or to appeal a denied request. You may also have the right to complain to a privacy regulator.
Send requests to hi@motionpls.com. We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting. Some information cannot be deleted when retention is required for transactions, tax, security, disputes, or other legal obligations.
12. Children
The website and service are intended for adults and organizations, not children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the direct-order service.
13. Policy changes
We may update this policy by posting a revised version and effective date. We will provide additional notice where a material change requires it.
